Students can still enroll in summer courses

Graduating in four years is a priority for many students and their families. Taking summer courses may be part of a student’s strategy to stay on track or explore a new class. Students’ academic advisors can help them choose the right courses, understand degree requirements and policies, and achieve their academic goals.

UW–Madison’s Summer Session offers more than 1,000 courses, which vary in session length. More than 60 courses are offered online, and some classes are as short as three weeks. Parents can view a detailed listing of courses offered on campus by using the Summer Schedule of Classes (select “General Public–Use the Public Class Search”).

Students pay by the credit, based on their classification (undergraduate, graduate, etc.) and residency. For more information about summer session costs, visit the Office of the Registrar Tuition & Fees (select “Summer 2013 Term/Semester”).

For additional information about summer courses, students should speak with their advisor and visit Summer 2013: Destination UW–Madison.
